Company: Our client is a leading supplier of labelling and Auto ID systems in Ireland. They provide labelling expertise and services to businesses across an extensive range of industries and applications.

Problem Statement: Manually managing stocks of hundreds of products they used. The manual process of recording the stock out or in with other details such as the username, Client name, date, description of the job for which the stock has been taken etc. was very time-consuming and tedious. This process left much room for errors and was not efficient for their business.

Cozmotec met with the team to understand their problems and came up with a custom mobile application solution that uses an API integration to communicate with the stock database. The goal of the application was to automate the stock management process and reduce errors and time spent on manual interventions.

Custom Mobile App Solution

Cozmotec built this mobile application for iOS and android platforms. This application has an integrated scanner that allows the users to scan in and out the products which are being used for the job or project. When a product is scanned, the app automatically pulls the required information, asks the quantity involved and updates the stock database without any manual calculations and effort. This automation greatly reduces the chances of errors and saves a lot of time for our client’s company.
